Our Pictures, Darling!

1. This picture was taken by Mardo, the owner and operator of Luthus Lodge. notice that you had brand new scotland football jersey on. We stayed 1N here after checking out from Novotel Edinburgh Park for 75 pounds. the room impressed you for its many TV channels. for me it was the warm hospitality by the owners. he was very helpful with showing the directions and his wife was very friendly. he was also one of those who had been to Malaysia!

We took this picture in his living room-cum dining where he personally attended to our breakfast which was English continental comprising of toast with jam, butter, fresh fruit jiuce and tea.
There was a gas burner fireplace, presenting the room with very cozy and warm ambience.

the other guests having breakfast were a Ukraine lady and her French boyfriend.


2. This picture was taken at the food court near the Edinburgh Waverly Central Station. we only had hot chocolate 1.20 pounds. we went to the toilet for which you need to pay 30p per entrance. there was also a change machine for use if you do not have small change. handy, huh!

here we were also on the hunt for scotland football jersey since the t-shirts at Royal Mile was not to your satisfaction. we soon found out that there was a Sports World shop at King James shopping centre so we made a dash for it afterward.


3. This photo was taken by a very nice scttish lady at the Haymarket Bus station. we have just bought our all day rider Stagecoach ticket and we were not sure if the Quaylink service accepts it for our ride to the tyneside (Newcastle Gateshead) trip. it fact they did!


4. This picture was a self-captured one on our train from KIng's Cross London to Newcastle. it was a 3hour journey across England plains. on board we were seated a cross a young couple from Sri Lanka, he was a PR and the girl was a British citizen. He did not buy a ticket beforehand, and there was an arguement between him and the train inspector about the train ticket afterward, in which he won. good for him! they stopped in Hull.

the National Express train has a broadband service, so i was reading a lot of RPK and MT articles on the way.

5. Sorry gamba ni seneget, kena bend your head a little. i'm not sure the name of this square? but it was at the end of Oxford Street.


6. This is another self-captured picture. we were having a halal-lunch at one of the malls near Piccadilly Circus, jalan ke Soho? i pun tak ingat namanya. we had a big serving of potato with mozarella cheese and baked beans with coffee.
